This privacy statement/policy applies to www.yourchoiceinfo.com owned and operated by YourChoice For Information llc. This Privacy Statement/Policy covers 1) YourChoice Info’s web site; and 2) YourChoice Info’s method for handling personal information provided to YourChoice Info, by those using YourChoice Info’s publicly available web site. YourChoice Info will only collect, store, and use personal information in compliance with applicable law. The use of this information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the client/customer has engaged YourChoice Info.

 

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

 

We collect from YourChoice Info clients/customers, their employees and job applicants, information that is necessary to provide requested services from our clients/customers.  Examples of the types of information we collect are (but are not limited to the following): name, social security number, date of birth, employment and educational verification, addresses, phone numbers, criminal histories, and driving histories.

 

Personal information is processed with the clients/customers, their employees and job applicant’s knowledge and authorization. This information is protected from unauthorized or accidental disclosure and is only seen by those persons necessary to complete the research authorized by the subject. In an effort to help decrease risk, personal identifiers are removed from reports where possible. YourChoice Info does not use any applicant information to collect mailing lists for sales or other purposes, nor is any of your information available to any other YourChoice Info clients/customers.

 

PRIVACY AND PROCEDURE

 

At YourChoice Info, we perform reasonable steps taken in order to satisfy legal requirements, on all new hires to ensure the highest level of principle. Our employees are trained in security of personal information. In addition, all employees must sign a confidentiality agreement before their employment with YourChoice Info. Our system requires user-identification authentication and actions are monitored once into our system.

 

TRANSFER OF INFORMATION

 

We reserve the right to employ other organizations or individuals as sub-contractors to perform functions on behalf of YourChoice Info. These organizations and individuals will not share information with any third party, other than YourChoice Info.

 

The information obtained by YourChoice Info is forwarded only to an individual/company that has been specifically authorized by the consumer to receive the data, or an agent of the end user operating on behalf of the end user.  Any third party requiring written authorization from the consumer to perform requested services is provided with the request for personal information when made.

 

ACCURACY

 

YourChoice Info makes every reasonable effort to satisfy the best possible accuracy in the information collected. Regarding public record information that is likely to have an adverse effect on the consumer, YourChoice Info continues strict practice to ensure the information is complete and up to date before it is reported. YourChoice Info cannot be responsible for errors within court records and within the records of other consumer reporting agencies, such as credit bureaus. Therefore, YourChoice cannot and will not act as a guarantor of information.

 

CONSUMER RIGHT OF COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION RESULTS

 

YourChoice Info is a consumer reporting agency and is subject to the regulations set forth in the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) as imposed by the Federal Trade Commission. Despite making every effort to ensure that data we collect and store about the consumer is as correct as possible, this service cannot and will not guarantee that third party information that is transmitted is accurate. For this reason, YourChoice Info is not responsible for the data.

 

If a client/customer or their applicants have a question about the results or request to see the report for their own inspection, our customer service department is available at support@yourchoiceinfo.com. YourChoice info provides our client/customer or their applicant access to all data collected about them and is required to correct, amend, or delete information only if inaccurate or incomplete.

 

Disclosure is provided under the terms of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Under all circumstances, our client/customer or their applicants are entitled to a copy of his/her report. However, YourChoice Info reserves the right to enlist in reasonable efforts to confirm and identity anyone requesting the data.
